IKKS is a French ready-to-wear brand born in 1987. Its creator, Gérard Legoff, always wanted to name his brand "X". Unfortunately it is impossible to use only one letter in the name of a brand, so he decided to name his brand IKKS phonetically to resemble the letter X as much as possible. At the time, the brand was intended only for children with original, but comfortable clothes borrowing the style of adult fashion. It was the first ready-to-wear brand for children to integrate black into its creations, the result being a trendy and original range, inspired by the adult world while retaining the lightness of childhood.
IKKS Men was created in 2003 and offers silhouettes that are as taylored as they are sportswear. The IKKS Men's dressing room adapts to and resembles him, with very contemporary, almost avant-garde pieces on the one hand, and more casual and authentic models on the other.
The Ikks man asserts his free and rebellious style with a resolutely contemporary spirit. Urban at heart, he makes his environment his own, making contrasts his wealth and identity.
