Bombers Original Men

After a break, Bombers Original resumed its pioneering work in 2007, creating stylish, original collections based on the iconic military jacket. Originally designed to be worn by pilots in the US Air Force at the beginning of the 1950s, the bomber jacket came in navy blue or khaki with an orange "warning" lining to help spot pilots in difficulty. It was soon spotted by big brands like Bombers Original, who started selling it to the public. It was then made available in a wide variety of colors and became a cult piece, made famous both by Vietnam veterans and Hollywood stars like Marilyn Monroe. At the beginning of the 2000s, Bombers Original embarked upon a great new era in its history. One of the current owners was inspired by the latest Raf Simons runway show and his "Parachute Bomber". The Belgian designer sparked his memory of the famous Bombers Original black jacket that was his favorite as a teenager. He contacted the founders' beneficiaries, who agreed to sell him the rights to the brand. In 2003, the label was relaunched by a young team passionate about streetwear culture. The bomber jacket underwent a revival thanks to young British working class males in Fred Perry polo shirts and Doc Martens making it a key part of their style statement. In 2007, the big names in rap and techno gradually adopted it, prompting the brand to launch a reworked collection of this classic icon. Bombers Original represents the ultimate in bomber jackets. It has ensured the successful continuation of a historic brand while infusing it with fresh creative flair.
