Over 120 years old, the Bosabo brand is THE specialist clog brand. Originally, Audouin-Bosabo was a brand that manufactured made-to-measure wooden clogs. At the end of the 1980s, the brand turned to fashion and became a front runner in the style stakes. Wooden clogs and Bosabo sandals are now exported worldwide and are worn with various types of clothing: choose between skirts or shorts! They offer a wide range of wooden clogs and sandals with flat or wedged heels, open-toed or closed, with straps or studs, some in leather and others even have fur. Bosabo, a French shoe brand with a true family history. At the end of the 19th century, the great grandfather of the Audouin family travelled the farms armed with his accessories to bring out the famous clogs from the freshly cut tree. The son, following in his father's footsteps, continued the production in a more modern way. Gone are the days of handmade clogs, replaced by mechanisation. Decades later, the grandson opened a new workshop near Nantes and brought new ideas. They expanded their know-how by making furniture. They also renewed the aesthetics of the clog by adding leather. These were Bosabo's first steps into the world of fashion. And the great-grandson is still at the helm. At the head of the company since 1988, they launch a new range with more design models that will convince the general public even more. Bosabo has succeeded in making a real place for itself in the world of fashion and has seduced the whole world. From New York to Tokyo, via London, Paris and Milan, the clogs have taken their place in prestigious shop windows and at the feet of the greatest fashionistas.
